It's a tough question because I have so many which are fighting for the number one.

If I leave the Toho Eurobeat Series aside I'd say that Dancing on the Street / David Dima is REALLY killing it.

But then again, there a songs which take over the pole position on a few days.

~ Welcome to the night! Dancing on the Street *whip sound* Come on baby, light my fire!

Definetely from 越田Rute隆人 (Koshida Rute Takahito). Either センヲコエテ (Sen Wo Koete) or No Routine.
But then again, on some days it may change to あき (Aki) or AXEL.K because their songs are energetic aswell.

For me it's got to be something by Elena Gobbi Frattini. Her voice is incredible and she worked with a lot of talented people. Maybe Lolita "Think of You."

I love Rute's Throw off disguise... but that's on another different series. :D

His style reminds me so much of Kageyama from JAM Project, it's pretty amazing! <3

However my favourite song from him on TEB is Flat World ~ I don't play Touhou but the whole song is like hovering over those grid-like things in Hokkai where Hijiri~n resides. ^^

maaan ... Axel K. is great! ~ shame he's moved on to other projects. But who knows maybe one day he'll return ... his Engrish was just legend & his songs were pretty all-out rocking good fun! ✌️ 💜

I know exactly what you mean. His engrish just sounds crazy :D
Despite the fact that he's bending the words sometimes really hard (like other japanese singers) he has a very powerful voice along with Rute.
But the bending doesn't bother me at all because it adds a unique style to his work and helps the flow of the song.

On what other series did Rute work and appear in? I didn't find Throw off disguise on: Euro Baka Ichidai, Super Euro Smash, TEB, or TEF!

Ohh I totally forgot to mention the series name. :D DJ katsu is Elementas' friend while Mentas先生 went & started TEB, katsu started Raver's Nest apart from A-One on his own doujin label Digital Wing. So they both feature similar artists, including Rute.

Rute's also made a couple of solo albums, here's his site ^^

absorute-zero.net ... (pun vey much intended I gather :D)

But back to Throw off disguise... tho. :o You can find it under Vol.1 of katsu's Raver's Nest comps. So far he's on the 7th album →

Raver's Nest 1

Another more niche series that features him is A-One's Kan-Colle Club Sounds Vol.1 | Good stuff albeit a pretty short EP Image

btw I love the pervy image Shion used on the センヲコエテ vid on YouTube haha ~ :D

youtu.be/SqQwFWsl58I

Everybody thinks the model on the cover of センヲコエテ is Youmu or Seiga ...
But the shot's too close & none of the four A-One'ers have said anything afaik. :o

Sorry for all the useless trivia haha ~ :D

"Blood on Fire" by Go 2 & Christine is still one of my all-time favorites, I think I left it out originally because it's a J-Pop cover, albeit a significant improvement over the 2005 AAA version. I don't think any other track off Super Eurobeat has ever left a greater impact on me. It was an absolute classic back in 2007, and it's still untouchable nearly a full decade later. Any mention of 2007 instantly conjures up this song into my subconsciousness.

Apart the fact that Sen Wo Koete got also released in the Lead-Single Album I've got my version from TEB Vol. 11 because the melody features a bit more elements to make it sound more powerful.

You're welcome. Actually you woke my interest on a new compilation (as I already mentioned) and how could I be mad about good music :)

It looks like you have quite some knowledge about Japanese Eurobeat so you might be able to answer me this question:
There are a few songs where I seem to recognize the vocal flow from somewhere.
In Paranoia / FN2 feat. Hanatan there's a verse which sounds (melodically) identical to Read An Emotion / Aki feat. Axel.K

If you listen to this: https://youtu.be/61-RF-q7RmI?t=3m50s
you will recognize it yourself if you listen to this too: https://youtu.be/UAkaCF1zJy0?t=3m54s

Is it just coincidence or am I missing something?

Glad I could help ya find some new music my friend! :D

The reason why all of the Touhou songs are called "Arrangements" ( アレンジ ) and not "Compositions" is cause the original songs were made by Zun the creator of the Touhou doujin franchise. So usually everything that has a Touhou theme, is an arrangement of Zun's original game soundtracks.

Paranoia was arranged by FN2 ... a mysterious Japanese sound engineer ( who bears the name of the chassis-code for the 2006 Japanese Honda Civic Type-R ) people have seen alongside DJ Boss interviewing Bratt Sinclaire →

youtube.com/watch?v=T-2VOPqisso&t=2m8s

Read an Emotion was arranged by DJ Command ... alongside FN2 they co-founded the doujin circle Eurobeat Union. Known today for their Eurobaka series.

The reason they both sound strikingly similar is because the arrangements are based off-of Zun's theme for the character Koishi ... also known as "Hartmann's Youkai Girl". Hartmann was a German composer who gained notoriety in Japan around the post WWII reconstruction era. And it's also a very popular high-end brand of luggage Japanese travelers like using. So put those themes together and you get the basis for the character Koishi in the Touhou video games.

Both Paranoia & Read an Emotion are arranged around the theme Zun composed: Hartmann's Youkai Girl ( ハルトマンの妖怪少女 ) ~ which is why they sound similar haha! ^^🌹💚

Funnily enough, the arpeggio in Paranoia ... that little didgeridoo oingo boingo digital spring-up an escalator sound effect you hear here after the Frankie Goes to Hollywood "huahhh!" sample ~ is an homage & nod to FN2 and DJ Command's hero, so to speak, Bratt Sinclaire. Who originally created that little escalating boing-boing synth on his hit track Electro Violence featured on the We Love Tech Para compilations. In likewise fashion ... Frankie Goes to Hollywood is one of Bratt Sinclaire's favourite artists just a smidge below AC/DC. :D

Once again more useless trivia haha ~ but I like getting into the how & why of things, especially if it's something I'm in love with like music lol. Image

haha ~ you betcha! 💗 Enjoy listening to Raver's Nest! ^^ ... Anomaria by peЯoco. & Tsukasa is my fave song off the whole series. It's such a melodramatic song lol. I think you'll enjoy Digital Wing just as much as A-One. ✌️

Also think I'd make a good Dio with all that information steamrolling haha! :D ( wryyy )

The song I pick as my all time favorite is a one off track. Give Me Your Love by Giada. There has been something so endearing about this song since I heard it about 12 years ago. Her voice, the melody, and overall atmosphere is just wow to me. I will never skip this song when it comes on rotation.
