It's pretty good. I'm not especially keen on the song itself, but your riff is strong. Production-wise: >There's consistently too much bass. It's primarily a problem with the aggressive, clicky kick and buzzing synth bass, but it just sounds too speaker-shaking right now. >The bit where the low, mal...

Pro-tip: it IS possible to have great-sounding vocals with heavy auto-tune. Most of the problems you'll have with vocals stem from recording and mixing quality. Let's not turn this into an argument about pitch correction. All you need to record decent vocals is a good microphone, a good recording e...

For instruments, I'm a massive fan of Korg M1 legacy, ReFx Nexus, and Image-Line Harmless, though Synth1 is good too. You can pretty much make eurobeat with those plugins and a bunch of sample packs nowadays, which is great. FL Studio is a great DAW, but it's a touch on the expensive side if you wan...

If you want some real feel-good tracks: 3L - Be Happy Lolita - Stop the Time Tonight Ultraviolet - Love Is All Around Me (sorry it's not available on YouTube as a standalone track) Kiki & Fancy - Wake Up Irene - Every Heart Wanna Fly I know I could be seen as capitalising on someone else's misfortun...

"If you wanna be happy remember to use your friend, the big vegetable - but if you wanna be really happy, fix your problem and don't stress me!"

Translation: "go fuck yourself".

I LOVE THIS SONG.

Looking strong! Dima and Ace and Aleky and Manuel and Lolita - oh my! Shoot! is probably my favourite so far, despite the fact that it's not as fast as I'd like - and I'll Never Break as a close second, simply for the chorus melody. ;3 Also, the riff for Vicky Vale's Firegun sound like it could have...

I think wanting to have a physical copy for collection purposes is totally fine, but I'd just like to share some numbers. In 2014 physical sales made up 8% of global music revenue, while downloads got just over 50% while streaming was growing and had reached around 40%. http://www.ifpi.org/facts-an...

I personally agree with the notion that the worst labels should be retired - but that's subjective; different people are going to have different ideas on which labels are the "worst". Personally, I'd ditch SunFire, Sinclaire and Hi-NRG Attack, as it's been years since I've really found myself regula...

Some... odd offerings from SCP. But this volume overall has the potential to be excellent, I can tell that much from the previews - especially 79, Livin' On the Edge, You're Not Alone, and Nitrofire. Quite a few nice tracks here, though I'm not sure what Dima's trying with Dance for Love, as it soun...

Equinox's JD-800 brass is still the best one, IMO, and I use it in virtually everything I do. Most of the Sylenth1 and Massive ones are terrible, and Synth1... well, you really have to know how to use it. I haven't managed to get anything remotely usable out of it, myself, but some of those samples ...

A sad loss. He was a very talented musician, and my thoughts are with his family and friends. Samfree inspired me a lot too. Not even in the sense that his eurobeat productions influenced mine; early Vocaloid material is, in part, what started to get me interested in music on more than just a superf...
