Re: If You Were the Director of SEB: 2016 Edition

Pragmatically .. if I was Mr Tadanae I'd just revive the We Love Tech ♡ Para and Euromach compilation series & keep SEB going http://imgur.com/NsIApGs.png ♬ This is nothing new, that most of stranger fans see Eurobeat totally different than Japanese, no memories, no concerts, no discotheques, knowi...

Re: If You Were the Director of SEB: 2016 Edition

Quoting Avex Music Publishing Catalogue website, the most noticeable song in 2000's was Nuage "Sunday" in 2002. Since 15 years there hasn't been promoted any representative star, what means an artist with own real independent image and discography, performing on stage. Except once Ace and Pamsy at A...

Re: Today's Tune

A song produced by Ezio Franzoni, you might remember he also was involved in a couple of Vibration songs. It is from the transition period of italo disco to eurobeat: Akire - Last Train . If this one is too obscure, I'd recommend Alex - I Don't Want Your Love from the same label instead. Akire - tr...

Re: News of Dave Rodgers music

I personally do like most of the early songs on A beat C, and don't mind who wrote them. In these big record companies all staff worked for common success, however in Japan this wasn’t shown... But it may cause a small difference when you've realized that the first music composer can't be credited ...

Re: Today's Tune

Definitely one totally underrated gem in Eurobeat history. I took me some time until I discovered it but when I did, I couldn't stop listening to it over and over again. A number of appearances in this topic or comments about a specified song on international forum rather don't tell much about the ...

Re: Today's Tune

Not so easy already selection after Boom Boom Beat and Vibration that win for me, well, then enjoyable and acceptable for me later 90's Eurobeat by Delta, due to freshness always appearing when new label was created. Only from classic artist, Laurent G. Newfield.

Re: Today's Tune

I assumed that he increases the collection what I've observed, so paying for some "personal pleasure" ~40 euro will be not helpful when suddenly feel a lack of overpaid 20 euro... 8) Besides I'm really not sure if these releases, even new, are really worth this amount, except SEB Vol. 5 maybe. Mahar...

Re: Today's Tune

Each CDs will be at 38€, except the SEB169 who will be at 33€. Of course they will be all brand new :D I would've understood when is no choice... But thinking about the future collecting, with prices around 40 € per every CD, because it's unopened... 25 years at the warehouse or at home, listened a...

Re: My Halloween Special – modern cover of Frank Torpedo - Hi Hi Frankenstein

If this can be for you a compliment I can say it's very carefully reproduced and no less enjoyable than original. I believe you wanted to do a perfect imitation of the frightening mood, and all has been done from the beginning, here I mean you hadn't contact with samples from Time Records. I hope yo...

Forgotten here exotic mood, when Eurobeat had its solid, well established position in discotheques in cooperation with DJs and Avex Trax.
