Re: Andrea Delfino (Voice of Judy Crystal)

I'm not 100% if this is really her or just a model, but the woman here shows up on a handful of single covers associated with Andrea from the early '90s, so I think it's probably likely this is indeed what she looks like. And Nori Nori Nori? That was not a hit? I mentioned she was the voice of Judy...

Andrea Delfino (Voice of Judy Crystal)

After studying a bit of Saifam's work from the '90s, I believe I finally discovered the full identity of the iconic vocalist for Judy Crystal, also known for recording several of Hi-NRG Attack's earliest female classics (i.e., "Take My Gum", "Push Me Boom Boom")! Her full name is Andrea Delfino. Bef...

I'm sorry, but in the same way I had to point out similarities between the front cover of SEB 177 to Kesha or SEB 007 to Sinead O'Connor, I can't help but make this comparison, also... https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/55/Charlie_Puth_Voicenotes.png https://is3-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb...

Re: Eurobeat Labels: The Complete Catalogue

Hmmm...perhaps Simona is actually Lucya, particularly on songs such as "Beautiful"? Her voice seems to really thin out during the higher notes of "All I Need", in contrast to the soaring heights you hear on Irene (1) tracks such as "Dancin' Baby". Furthermore, Irene (1) doesn't have quite as crisp a...

Re: "She'll Be Wild" is out!

Cool, hyperactive song sure to get you pumped! Would like some slightly more original lyrics in the near future, since this label is totally independent for the time being, but I definitely look forward to more!

Despite a totally different synth hook and slightly modified lyrics, this Phil Jones song is a complete and utter ripoff of the Hi-Site track from Euro Panic! 1, even though the writer credits are entirely distinct.

Re: Eurobeat Labels: The Complete Catalogue

I've listened to the Simona Allegro song a bit more, and I think it's very likely that she was the original vocalist for Irene, before Linda Ongarelli took over for the alias. I pitched down "Music for My Dreams" and "Dancin' Baby" by a halftone, and I think the pronunciation is very similar in thos...

Re: Some clarity

Ah, I see. Regardless of whether or not you’re putting out your new material on a big CD, with or without Roby, it’s still wonderful to see all your passion for eurobeat live on, even with the impending conclusion of Super Eurobeat! I look forwars to everything from both your label, as well as Roby’...

Re: Today's Tune

k3IxfelXv64 This song is best appreciated in its extended version (I could only find it like this on YouTube), but it’s just such a classic and clearly should have been on Eurobeat Flash back when it was new as opposed to being delayed to the Euromach era. Not only is the composition fresh and easi...

or, if you're willing to dish out $20 for a single track, you can register an account on this website (it's still a better deal than $30 pretty much just for "Tiger"...). Its primary purpose, kind of hilariously, is to grant customers licenses to remix Saifam dance songs into school cheerleading me...

Re: The Almost-Complete Euromach Extended - a.k.a. So Close and yet So Far!

It's a bummer that TIME and A-Beat C have never gotten the chance, throughout their existence, to release their catalogues for the world to check out. The reason for this, of course, is that AVEX had more authority over them than they did other labels, but the sheer number of A-Beat C and TIME track...

Worst Clichés in Eurobeat

What common tropes bother you the most in eurobeat, in spite of your love for the genre regardless? These would be mine... 1. Fire/Desire rhymes: In 1989, F.C.F. released “Bad Desire”. This song was a huge smash at the time, a major part of that being its climactic sing-a-long chorus. Mauro Farina m...

Re: Eurobeat Labels: The Complete Catalogue

I'm pretty much positive that's Melissa Bianchini performing as Fancy in "People Say I'm Crazy". It has her signature soulfully nasal vocal. Just compare that song to "Don't Go Playing with My Heart Again" and "One More Time", for example. I can hear some similarity, though I think this Fancy has a...
