Seems like Eurobeat is going through something like the changing of the guard... Still, I must confess I stopped listening to new songs after 196 and I haven't come back to it really. I listen to the oldies very occasionally but I'm saturated for new Eurobeat now. :) I think the creativity and zest ...

Maybe the producers should take a step back and stop taking forums like these so seriously if they're offended by harsh comments. I shouldn't have to tell you, but this is the internet, where the flames are wild, the comments senseless, and the authors are behind that beautiful shield known as 'anon...

207 already? Meh I've dropped out of the band wagon ages ago, need to listen to the past what 4 releases properly to actually get on with the show... Hard to get back on the horse when the few bits here and there haven't really been too thrilling though. Gotta try to get my act together and actuall...

If none of those contains the original Caballero With Sombrero, these releases are UTTER FAIL.

Hmm, that cover looks very much a throwback to the SEB 90s decade with that style.

Her accent is very different in that video to the one on the record - particularly in the way she sings the word "dance", with a much more British sound than the one in the record. TBH I can quite imagine them having Ann Lee do vocals then hiring someone very similar sounding to do stage performance...

You seems to jump on SAW's back alot. For starters ,the most part of thier catalog was Hi-NRG, which was a good developement for music and a big part of why we have Eurobeat today, so I can't possibly complain. I'm doing and have done no such thing. You're the one who's ragging on about a specific ...

My main beef is that back in the 80s and 90s Pop Music wasn't so blatantly sounding like each other. The songs used different melodies and hooks. None of Duran Duran's songs song alike? None of the Cars songs sound alike? Even Micheal Jackson showed versatility in his music. and none of them where ...

Haha, I can't believe you're onto the plagiarism angle now, on a EUROBEAT forum. Wasn't there an entire thread dedicated to Eurobeat songs that rip each other off? Let's face it, there's only so many combinations of notes that work together before you undoubtedly stumble upon something that s...

All I can say is: If you expect diversity in ANY genre, don't look at what the Top 40/100 is telling you. How many times do we frown when Avex does a Top 100 Eurobeat songs at the end of every decade? The 'popular' choices that make it onto those albums are, more often than not, dull, overplayed, an...

For me it would bring down Eurobeat to the level of Pop Music. Which is pretty much ,lazy music made for the masses or sake of just "cashing in" I'm curious - exactly what part of that doesn't apply to Eurobeat? Last I checked, we have over half a dozen labels churning out songs every month for the...
