Re: The Almost-Complete Euromach Extended - a.k.a. So Close and yet So Far!

Contini seems to be a lot more private than other EB producers on Facebook.

Re: SCP's Eurobeat Kudos Series

You mean in the silence right at the very end? Yes... probably a glitch in the transfer or some such. At least it isn't in the actual track!

Re: Eurobeat ripoffs/similarities to other songs

Isn't Oda's "Shy Gun" basically a not-too-subtle riff on Dead Or Alive's "You Spin Me Round"?

Re: SCP's Eurobeat Kudos Series

You know, I hadn't even really clocked that Gotta Be My Babe was different - but it's quite obvious now comparing to EBK 24's version! :D

Re: SCP's Eurobeat Kudos Series

That's weird - why don't they just use the "extended" edit of Queen Of Mean from SEB 188?

Re: DJ Boss considers recording Japanese Eurobeat

A thousand times yes. Eurobeat deserves to thrive at least somewhat independently. The recent Eurobeat Kudos releases were precisely what got me totally addicted to eurobeat again after mostly losing interest in the genre for a few years. Off topic kinda, but I'm in exactly the same boat. When I sp...

Re: DJ Boss considers recording Japanese Eurobeat

Bratt Sinclaire did a livestream on FB last night where he was meeting with Avex SEB staff in a Milan restaurant - including DJ Boss. Was brief but interesting. :)

Re: SCP's Eurobeat Kudos Series

I did mean Euromach releases. A-Beat C seem to be the same around then. Quite a few "extended" Euromach tracks I've managed to get by them seems to be no longer than a radio edit... I wonder if that was partly influenced by both SCP (then Double) and A-Beat C choosing to put out vinyls with 2 tracks...

"Freedowm Wild" barely qualifies as extended. :?
Most of SCP's stuff in the Euromach doesn't go above 5 mins. Mikado is the only track to even hit 6 minutes.

Re: The Almost-Complete Euromach Extended - a.k.a. So Close and yet So Far!

I wrote to Giancarlo Pasquini on FB to see if he was able to sell his music... alas he doesn't own the rights to anything A-Beat C. I guess the rights must purely be with Avex at this point? I know they and TIME had a much tighter contract with Avex than SCP, HiNRG, Saifam etc. do/did. Shame if so -...

Re: The Almost-Complete Euromach Extended - a.k.a. So Close and yet So Far!

Discovered I randomly have Ace Warrior / Black Roses on vinyl... now I just need £1,000 of equipment to make a half decent rip of it Lebon14. ;-)

Re: SCP's Eurobeat Kudos Series

EBK 17 now appears to be up on iTunes, Amazon, 7digital, etc

Also for those who prefer lossless, the EBK albums are ever so slightly cheaper on 7digital in lossless than anywhere else - at least here in the UK: £11.99 rather than £12.49 on Juno/Beatport.

Re: The Almost-Complete Euromach Extended - a.k.a. So Close and yet So Far!

At the time when most A-Beat-C, Delta and Double (pre-SCP) vinyls were made, I would bet that most producers were still on analog or early digital transition. I would say that maybe they changed into digital mid-2000s. Not counting them because of the format and the entry level is totally acceptabl...
