Re: RIP Red Monster

I remember seeing his name on some of my vinyls. It's always sad to lose someone from the beloved Italo/Eurobeat genre

Re: Today's Tune

I miss when AbeatC did those really great intros. Those synth riffs where their trade mark too. We should all choose on e song from a different featured artist of the day. Just an idea. Lolita certainly has a boatload of great ones, but nothing beats. Lolita - Cooling My Desire (extended0 M2iX3Il1HKA

Re: Today's Tune

keeping with the Fastway tracks (no pun intended) Everyone has that one favorite Fastway track. Mine has always been "Number One" the original version, but tonight I'm choosing another of my top 5. It's funny, because it's not the most melodic. It's surely very aggressive, but I really loved his voc...

Marko Polo - Baby Queen Seventeen Great song, but doesn't count unless you add the sleeve art. <3 peek a boo. Dr. Nrg, you magnificent person. I have found that the sleeve art exponentially increases my understanding of the track, and now that I understand the visual we were supposed to get with th...

Re: Today's Tune

never known Lebon14 to be much of an Italo fan. :P Disques Chris'Music was certainly a strange, French dance music ,label. Most of the music was sung in French? I was never a fan of this label, but they had one song with a New Wave vibe that I really love. Partenaire Particulier sung by the band wit...

Re: Avex Trax point of view in the early days

In short. They didn''t count on the fans. Another thing to take into consideration . Eurobeat never crosses over to the Western world. It never became a big top 40 market genre. It stayed underground and that why it lives on. Like all music genres, once they hit the top, the only way from there, is ...
