Re: Random Eurobeat Thoughts

Whatever has happened, it’s been done with complete agreement of italian producers. They prefered to keep silent and keep their business safe. They agreed with all trash sounds since late 90's, while people still are looking for art and pay only for art, not cheap and cheese music. I seriously can’t...

Re: Trance

There isn't any genre today that sounds exactly like it's 90s predecessor. I think everyone has certain "eras" of a particular genre they hold high above all other years, and will argue up and down that what's new isn't "like it use to be!" But in case of Trance we aren't talking about 90's, becaus...

Re: Trance

Why does it matter where it was produced though? Does it make it less good by being produced on the other side of the world? No no... The sound of folllowing song is conspicuous if we look back at german Trance. I guess I would've not known any Trance if not Germans back in 1999-2004. Their contrib...

Re: Trance

This song is nice. But welcome back in Japan. I wouldn't call it real nor pure Trance created and developed in Europe. I feel we have here uncommon high BPM, actually I find here more Eurobeat influence than any even Progressive Trance. Is this max. lenght version ? If yes, it betrays again next co...

Re: Random Eurobeat Thoughts

1. Enjoying any kind of music doesn't make you a puppet of commercial competition. 2. Eurobeat can be repeatable too A publisher first of all should be a real fan of the genre he releases, not ball and chain. Unfortunately Avex Trax towards Eurobeat reminds a brain cancer destroying an independent ...

Re: Random Eurobeat Thoughts

I love Eurobeat and Pop music, they don't have to compete with each other I will share some thoughts because I didn't do that for a long time and it has some reason as well, how I spent this long summer regarding the music and why I'm not talkative here anymore. 1. Don’t be a puppet of commercial c...

Re: Trance

What is "Real Trance" in your opinion? From what I hear there are still plenty of producers out ranging from Hard, Uplifting, Progressive, Full On, all to Vocal Trance. Generally the trend went more towards EDM / Big Room music and they call it Trance which is just flat out wrong. It seems that Tra...

Re: Trance

Hands Up is very cheerful, just more commercial for crowd.

Real Trance has already gone 10 years ago and it is the history of electronic music, also Hands Up with its roots in 2002.

Some nice events still are held, true.

Re: Italo Disco Treasure Hunt!!

Alongside forthcoming Ken Laszlo produced by a part of his original studio staff from the 80's, also again Giancarlo Pasquini stays with his Aleph name and continues his engagement in Italo Disco music. Extended Mix not Aleph Mix is made by Carlos from Axis Mundi Studio. Glad to see how the oldest f...

Re: Today's Tune

Vibration influences certainly made this SCP project very good, at least in the beginning.

Re: Super Eurobeat Vol. 249

Apparently, SEB 249 made it to 12th place on Oricon Rankings What Avex quoted was one of oricon genre charts, not the main album chart(weekly TOP300 albums). However, the album did sell slightly more than 247 and 248. I was the same doubful regarding the quick result of next "boom", especially than...

Re: Today's Tune

The most promising label, Vibration, in 1996 with extraordinary sound, the mix of tradition and innovation and past experiences, right after lost the two primary members in 1997, it went down to the deep end under the pressure of new staff and the japanese trends. Too bad.
