Re: Regarding Super Eurobeat 250

I thought SS was working on a new BON track? He posted the other day he had finished a vocal session.

Re: SEB 246

240s have been a whole lot better than the 230s. The 230s didn't pick up in quality until 236.

Re: Why I think "Eurobeat Wouldn't be Popular in America" is silly.

anime's popular in america, why not eurobeat or j pop ( which is also popular in america, or at least i know a ton of people who love j pop) If eurobeat is popular in the States, I would assume 95% of its popularity is viewed as "DDR/Anime" music, not an actual genre of dance music which you would ...

Re: Regarding Super Eurobeat 250

Wait...so 247, 248, 249 will be non-stops? And then 250 of course as a non-stop. What material is Boss going to use to mix with that hasn't been mixed with already, besides 246? Best of 2013/2014/2015/2016 were all parapara tracks, 235 & 245 were collection mixes...Maybe they'll splash some unreleas...

Re: Why I think "Eurobeat Wouldn't be Popular in America" is silly.

Eurobeat is not music you rave to. I've seen Eurobeat played at raves in anime cons and usually they don't know what to do when it comes on. It's more natural to dance ParaPara to it really. Well ya....because it's an anime con dance party...not a rave. In the past they have often marketed it as a ...

Re: Regarding Super Eurobeat 250

Definitely a piece of music legacy. It seems ZXY will carry the Italo sound now with thier Italo Disco New Generation series, which feature writers that are also part of SEB. Who knows, maybe this series will follow the same progression of SEB and tracks will get begin to get faster, or SEB artists ...

Re: Regarding Super Eurobeat 250

Wow :( They better go out big and not just a 2-disc mix of Jealousy, Sunday, Dancer, Money Go, & Yesterday. At least do a 4-disc set: 1 Disc 90s, 2 Discs 2000s, 1 disc Present.

Darren Styles is still active (from Force & Styles) Mark Breeze (DJ Breeze, Breeze & Styles) is still active Al Sto...

Even if eurobeat were to play in night clubs I doubt Avex would allow it outside of Japan, so good luck with that (as far as I know, copyrights are a thing, right?).
Not if it's played at a rave

Re: The Unexpected Revival of Eurobeat

Maybe Eurobeat is too old of a genre to take off here in the American nightlife? American music tastes are not stable; there's a constant battle for who can be the first to try something new, push the next popular sound, be the next artist in the spotlight, etc and teenage and young adult mainstream...
