Re: Today's Tune

Today's song:
Time After Time / David Dima

Haven't done this in a while but Dima has one upped himself since the already good Stay Together Now Or Never again.

Re: 100 SEBs ago...

SEB 144 is a decent album for the 140s, including what I feel is one of the best Domino song to ever exist next to Woa Woa Woa. The Game Of My Name is just too good, and at a time when Domino was having a string of nothing but bubbly/upbeat tunes after SEB 95's Woa Woa Woa, the arrival of a serious ...

Re: 100 SEBs ago...

Not that there aren't good songs but I don't have great memories of 140s, it together with the 150s are one of the dullest moments in eurobeat in my opinion. That being said, about 142, only Criminal Fire really stuck out for me and it's a song I still go back to sometimes, Powerful T and Ace Warrio...

And with typos and awful mastering of some songs............ I mean SEB is dead indeed.
I also like how Leo River's song is missing from the entire thing. :?

Re: Regarding Super Eurobeat 250

Okay, so I'm really sorry to spoil the mood, but I feel more relieved that the series is finally ending than anything else. It would of course be great to see eurobeat commercially survive, which maybe it still could depending on the right circumstances and actions, but this compilation series in p...

Voted. I was tempted to pick SF for best label again until I realized they had a grand total of 2 songs for this year.

Re: Super Eurobeat Vol. 244

It's very hard to put into words but I just think the 230's female Hi-NRG has all around better melodies. The ones on 240's are just so generic. As I say, compare for example "Girl In The Night" or "Little Girls Cannot Be Wrong" vs every song they put out in 240's and see.

Re: Super Eurobeat Vol. 244

Mini review in descending order of liking, overall a pretty "meh" album. Top 3: Turn Me On / Ace - [Not "New Dirty Road" but still an enjoyable song from Christian nonetheless] Don't Wanna Love You Tonight / Dream Fighters [Dima 101, you either love it or hate it, the chorus 5/5 this song for me} Ti...

Leo River isn't Kaioh (Freddy Rodgers) though.

Today's song:
Don't Wanna Love You Tonight / Dream Fighters

244 is a mild disappointment so far, not 242/243 for sure.

Re: Super Eurobeat Vol. 244

I personally think this batch of samples have a HUGE gap in between them, ROCKIN ON THE HIGHWAY / LOU MASTER TURN ME ON / ACE (This is the best sample but it doesn't sound like it is a proper successor to the phenomenal "New Dirty Road") JUMP INTO THE YELLOW / ANA & LOL TIGER MASK / NICK FESTARI (Su...

Re: Sad Eurobeat songs

Whenever sad songs are brought up, my first thought will always be Clara, a lot of her songs are in that realm, and it's hard for me to think of anyone else who can bring the blues as good as her. Most of Norma's sad songs are kinda boring imho. My all time favourite aishu from her BzZsd5keZ7E Also ...

Re: Super Eurobeat Vol. 244

The Dave x Dima (collab? or has Dave officially joined under Dima Music?) is more or less on the way. Giancarlo uploaded a picture today and seems to be his new upcoming song called "Kingdom Comes", either on 244 or 245 (if it's not a non stop mix), and hopefully not more! https://www.instagram.com/...
